Brian Angel hosted Temptation Tuesdays at Club PHX last month (August 2009). I posted about 10+ pics of him Enjoy!
Ok so I am sure everyone heard that Diddy has signed with Interscope and basically left the label and all the acts (including Day 26) on Bad Boy. So what’s gonna happen to Day 26 and most of all how are the boys taking it? Well here is some of what the guys had to say about it:
Willie Taylor, one-fifth of Day26, spoke to Rap-Up.com in an exclusive interview.
“The business of it is still getting taken care of as we speak,” he revealed. “We’re just trying to figure it out. Once the paperwork is done, then we’ll know.”
Rup: One thing’s for certain, the R&B quintet will remain at Atlantic Records.
“It might be Bad Boy/Atlantic, it might just be Atlantic. Right now, it’s up in the air, We know we not gonna be Bad Boy/Interscope though. That’s not even part of the situation.”Rup: Diddy called the “Making the Band” stars to personally deliver the news.
“He called us and let us know everything that was going on, the move he was making. And it’s a good move for him.” (more…)
The guys sat down w/Urban Spin online while they were in Los Angeles preparing for the night’s first show kick off for the 106 Park Live tour. I have posted the video interview but be on the lookout because Urban Spin says more interviews and footage will be coming in the next couple of days.
Paige Vermillion of OneStopHipHop did an interview with Brian Angel back on 9/18/09..Brian talks about the FIYE digital album, if there are any future plans for another MTB, and what the goes are doing for solo side projects:
From being on a popular reality show to making hit albums and going on tour, these boys are doing anything but slowing down. Day 26 has made its way to the top and isn’t stopping to rest any time soon. OneStopHipHopShop.com recently had the opportunity to chat with band member Brian Angel about the group’s project and inside details on Day 26.
OSHHS: I want to say congratulations on the video album Forever in your Eyes released everywhere today, correct?
Brian: Yes mama, its available on Itunes right now and I’ve already purchased three myself.
OSHHS: Who came up with the idea of making a video album?
Brian: It actually started off with us shooting our videos and so that we could stay relevant on the internet when we were in between singles. But originally our second single was not So Good it was really suppose to be Heels. We put a fan poll up to see what the fans liked and it was a real close race. But So Good came first. We really sat down though and thought what (more…)
